When are my maintenance fees payment due?

The monthly association maintenance fees are due the first of each month. In order to avoid late charges, it must be postmarked by the 10th of the month.

 

I want to do some remodeling in my unit. Do I need the Boards permission to do so?

I am not sure who is responsible for maintaining and insuring different areas in our Condominium. Can you clarify it for me?

The association is responsible for maintaining both the Common and Limited Common areas. The best definitions are:

 

Common Area The improved real property shared by the members of a common interest development. The parking lot is a good example of a common area.

Common Area - Exclusive Use or Limited A portion of the common areas limited to the exclusive use of one or more, but not all, owners. For example, patios, exterior doors, screens, windows and other components designed to serve a particular owner, but located in the common area, are considered exclusive use or limited common area.

 

Below is a general guide to who is responsible for what.
